our Pricing Policy

At Pathways Psychotherapy we firmly believe that mental health support should be
accessible and affordable to all.

Unfortunately it is a well-known fact that currently Australia's health care system is under strain. Reports about lack of accessibility, either due to costs or long waiting periods, are frequent; and local and federal Governments continuously aim to make improvements but struggle to keep up with the ever increasing demand and inflation.

At Pathways Psychotherapy we are of the opinion that it is also up to the free market economy to do their part in supporting a strained system and since we are informed by strong ethical ideals and humanistic viewpoints, our fees are positioned at similar levels to other working professionals.

What does your electrician charge, or your kid's music tutor?

How about your tax agent, or your nail technician?

What do you pay for your gym membership or your night out with friends?

We believe your mental health should be at least as important and services as accessible as these.
Please see our fees below.

All single sessions are 50 min in duration and priced as follows:

Hunting Unicorns ?

"Finding a good psychologist or psychiatrist who bulk-bills and has appointments available

is like hunting for unicorns while blindfolded."
(quote from an article published by The Guardian newspaper)

Enough with funny!  Cost and accessibility are unacceptable barriers when you require help for your mental wellbeing.
If our pricing is unattainable for you nonetheless, please talk to me about who we can connect you with for fully-funded,
no-fee mental health support in the community.
